Food is flavorful and reasonably priced. I highly recommend you order ahead of time because you will most likely wait 40 minutes to an hour and a half if you order upon arrival. You order at the counter and wait. There is adequate indoor and outdoor seating but most get takeout. There is also a bar upstairs on Friday and Saturday nights, interesting in checking this out.
Cool Jamaican spot that offers some pretty good cuisine. Customer service was not good or bad if that makes sense just kind of look know what you want to order and get out the way vibe.
I tried the spinach and vegetable patty's along with the jerk chicken. The jerk chicken was a little on the wet side but was flavorful and enjoyable.
The outside patio area looks like it would be very chill in the spring/summer time. It also had ample space all around including a large parking lot.
I would try again as well as recommend to others.
This place gives true Caribbean vibes. Not a typical eat in restaurant but the food will not disappoint!

Soooo good! I was visiting the area and my coworker recommended this place. He’s from Jamaica. I had the oxtails, rice and peas, and mac and cheese. All top tier. Be prepared to wait! But it’s worth it. They also have fresh juice. Try the pineapple/ginger. It’s awesome.
It’s hard to find good Jamaican food in the DMV. I come here quite often and always leave satisfied. The price isn’t bad for the portion size. They have all the staples, and if you want a taste of Jamaica or can’t decide, they have combination plates. They even offer 10% discount to local students. The vibe is like a house in Jamaica for real. The time varies, sometimes I get my food 5-10 minutes, other times it can take up to 30. The food is worth the wait nonetheless.
It was 4 of us from baltimore, we waited over an hour for our food. The food was not hot. The coco bread tasted like potato bread, the chicken pattie wasn't flaky. Several people complained about the wait. It was more talking in the kitchen instead of serving of food. As I read other peoples reviews it seems to be a bunch of excuses instead of actual change. Is there not a standard of work?
This is the second time I purchased food from this restaurant and it was hair in my food. I’m so disgusted! Is the cook not required to wear a hair net??? I know it doesn’t belong to me because my hair isn’t short or black. I’m not saying don’t eat here just make sure you throughly inspect your food!!! SMH
