DISAPPOINTED!
There is a large car park.
There's also a garden out the back, with seating around the front.
Dogs allowed.
disabled parking out the front too.
Toilets available.
Sadly I feel the pub wins the award for the smallest roast dinner available!
The plate was tiny and we even questioned if it was the child's portion!
The potatoes were from frozen.
The food took ages.
Our food was originally given to the wrong table.
Broken glass left on floor, despite the waitress seeing it.
Attention to detail is required, then this would be a great country pub.
Very welcoming and friendly pub with good pub food served quickly. I would certainly visit again if I am in the area. Thanks for your hospitality ++++
I attended The Horseshoe in Sywell on a busy Friday night and nothing seemed like too much effort for the staff. Jodie looked after us and was A* throughout our stay there. Would recommend to anyone looking for a lovely evening and beautiful food. Will definitely be returning soon.
Lovely pub with a lovely garden. Food was served fairly quickly. All day breakfast was not bad apart from the sausages which I didn’t like, the gammon was fatty and a bit tough. Is expensive compared to other pubs. Lovely staff and covid safe.
Update: my in-laws went for a carvery and was very disappointed, vegetables were cold and the food was not very good. They won’t be returning as it’s also expensive for a disappointing meal. They prefer the queens head in Wellingborough.
We only stopped off for a quick drink but the staff were friendly and quick to serve us. There is a nice outside garden for the summer months.
We have no village pub in little harrowden now. So went for a family mid week meal. Loved it and will be visiting again. Don't get out much as a family. But this will be our new local. Thanks guys. Look forward to seeing you soon. John Jayne boo and bob
Went for Sunday lunch today. Oh my goodness what an amazing dinner. Lamb shank, roasters, vedge, stuffing and Yorkshire pudding. DELICIOUS!! Well worth a visit. We love The Horseshoe!!!
HORRENDOUS! Can i give 0 stars?!
The food here is shocking. Frozen Yorkshires, Frozen Roasties, Mushy Carrots and Parsnips. No greens as you can see. Lukewarm watery gravy. The kids had Cheeseburger, chips and peas. Chips were cold.
The waitress came over to ask how it was and even the kids told her how bad it was, met with a blank expression from the waitress.
Mrs said it was like "Nursing home food" or "prison food".
The couple next to us even commented how bad it looked.
10yrs ago this pub was brilliant. Severely gone downhill.
