Great tiki bar with happy hour from 3-6pm which is really good!! Amazing cocktails made by Ian and then we loved it so much we decided to stay for dinner. Very good pupu platter with 2 steak skewers, 2 ribs, 2 meat spring rolls and 2 veggie spring rolls with great dips. Green curry also very good and tasty yes it was honestly very very nice food and atmosphere wise ????
We ate here the end of February. Not bad. I had the salmon and he had some meatloaf or hamburger dish with gravy on it. We didn't care for it but everything else was good. Drinks were slow rolling, so you are sure to stay sober. ????
We went on a Sunday afternoon. Tables were full but the bar was great. Feels fantastic being outside. Bartenders were super friendly as well. The Pele's Revenge was a great cocktail with a little bit of a kick. They aren't lying when they say that Pele sauce is hot. Tastes delicious but be careful with the amount you put on your food. You can't take that back after. Their live music is also a nice touch. Only downside is the small parking lot but it's downtown so you should be able to find some nearby.
One of my favorite spots based on both food and atmosphere. If you come in October, they have the best Halloween decorations. This restaurant is walkable from downtown Dunedin. The food options offer some unique choices and flavors. The cocktails are amazing! Whether seated inside or in the Tiki Bar, you will have a nice time.
We are here visiting Florida, and wanted a quick bite, we had our two dogs with us (Golden Retriever and GoldenDoodle). So we were looking for a dog friendly outdoor restaurant and we stumbled upon The Honu. It was a great dining experience, excellent food for my husband and I, plus they have great specialty drinks! The pups had a great time too with each of them getting their own water bowl, and there’s a doggy menu with great choices. The ambience is very relaxing the indoor decor super unique and fun. The customer service was top notch, and welcoming. We purchased one of their specialty cups and when we told them we were visiting from out of State they made us a personalized bag to place the souvenir in. During our stay in Florida we will definitely be coming back here!
A marvelous little gem in Dunedin! The cocktails were executed splendidly with quality ingredients and balance. The food was fresh, bright, and well balanced. The atmosphere was perfectly balanced between cheesy and genuine and the music was chill and just the right volume. All around an incredible experience, we would definitely visit again and again if we visit this part of Florida again.
This is a great place to unwind, have a drink and enjoy the atmosphere! Ian was our bartender and he is fabulous!! He made the best drinks we’ve ever had! Bar none! Their food was amazing as well. The salad I got was excellent. I can’t say enough good things about them!
Love this place for the holidays ! Great drinks and food. Love the atmosphere especially outside. Cara was our bartender and she was so sweet !!! Gave us menu recommendations as well as local recommendations. The bar manager (don’t know her name) was NASTY. not only to the customers but to the staff.
