It actually says family restaurant and bar on their sign. We assumed that meant they would be self-contained separately. Lots of colorful language used, and the family restaurant and bar are only separated by a partition. It's just a different environment than we are accustomed to. The service was good. The food was really good. It was one of the best places we that ate at while visiting California.
My daughter and I stopped in on a beautiful SNOWY day! The food, the atmosphere and the hospitality was wonderful. Sara and Charlee were fun and great hostesses! Will definitely come back. Thank you!❤️
New owners but the same great locals spot. But all are welcome. Large menu and a full bar, there is something here for everyone.
My favorites are the Bacon Western Cheeseburger and their classic Reuben sandwich. Side salads are a step up from the basic with lots of yummy toppings.
We had a great time watching Alabama beat Texas A&M. Food was good. We got the loaded French fries, a BLT and the Club sandwich. Drinks were good- I had a White Russian cocktail and my husband had an Old Fashioned cocktail. The Pecan Pie with ice cream and whipped cream was YUM! They played GREAT music…Classic country!! Nostalgia! The people were so nice! We felt like family! We will definitely be back.
I REALLY wanted to like this place. But, the new owners are really having a hard time with customer service. We waited an hour and a half for our food, and it didn't all come out at the same time (more than 20 minutes between the plates.) We never got a refill on our drinks. We will give them a few more months of learning the biz and come back for another try...probably. They seem really nice, and I do wish them the best. This is a great venue, I want it to stay in business.
Local, friendly, and a nice place to eat. I thought it was quiet, lots of talking and laughing, but no “extra” noise. Felt like the place next door with better food. I had the hamburger and he had the western burger. OMG that western was huge! Even the pickle was good.
The food was good, but the service was slow. We were there first before the other customers, and our order still took a long time to arrive. I had the bowl of chili, and it was kinda dry.
After 4 days of hiking around Yosemite we were ready for a burger and man are we glad we found this place. I got a cowboy burger and some clam chowder and both were delicious. The burger had more bacon in it than I ever had in a burger before and the clam chowder had a good amount of clams in it and cheese on top of it!
