Didn't know what to expect because of the description of the restaurant. It seemed weird to do Jamaican, Asian and American. We were pleasantly surprised! Food was fresh and homemade, with a very friendly atmosphere. I will be back to try the oxtail. This place is worth a stop as it's not just your average boxed bar food. Rasta pasta was excellent.
One of our favorite places to get a bite to eat when we're craving ethnic food. It's difficult to find this kind of food without having to drive an hour into the cities, so I'm extremely happy there's a local place I can support when I'm craving curry. The staff has always been nice, and service is quick, but we always go during slower times so we don't have to wait. Definitely recommend this place.
Wide variety on menu. Never have seen such a large Bloody Mary! Only complaint is slow service and food didnt come out together with our group.

Went to the Hideout just after open on a Sunday for their Bloody Mary special. The food was incredible and staff was friendly. Can’t wait to visit again!
We had a really good experience! The food is delicious and the atmosphere was comfortable. All of the workers were extremely nice! We were trying to order gluten-free which they do have quite a few options but there was a miscommunication and they accidentally sent out something that contained gluten but told us it didn't. We caught the mistake right away and informed them and they felt extremely bad! First, at least four workers came by to apologize and offer us other stuff to make up for it. They took off the cost of the veggie rolls and gave us free drinks and the owner even came back and talk to us, he was extremely nice and very apologetic and offered us cooked red snapper which was absolutely delicious. It made us feel more than comfortable with the situation and because of the way they responded to it we will definitely be going back. Honestly I can't wait for that day!
Joe is awesome! Great conversation and great drinks. Service has definitely improved since last time I was here!
