Just had the most wonderful experience having Karena style my hair. I had been cutting and coloring my own hair for about 15 years. Needless to say, I presented a challenge. I was treated like royalty from beginning to end. Karena took the time to discuss with me what she felt my hair needed as far as color and cut. Nothing was forced on me. She actually listened, and I'm thrilled with the results. I would highly recommend this salon.

My 8 yr old daughter and I came here together for the first time and were blown away... Karena, her staff, and her beautiful salon all made for a magical experience! Karena's expertise and thoughtful consideration of our unique personalities/lifestyles helped create the perfect new haircuts (with just the right length, layers, and movement). She also taught us so much about proper washing, conditioning, and maintenance! Her talent, warmth, professionalism, and amazing energy have made us customers for life. In 2005, a parent of a student recommended Karena. I had a certain style I had been trying to obtain for many years, and no stylist was able to achieve it. Karena listened, looked at photos, and did her magic! I was so happy that I practically skipped out of the salon. Needless to say, I received endless compliments about what became my signature hairstyle; and I always gave Karena full credit.

Over the years, I have tried both different styles and stylists closer to my home. I always returned to Karena. Lately, while in the process of growing out an impulse, platinum pixie, the woman in the mirror did not reflect who I am. So, I made an appointment to see Karena in her beautiful salon. She immediately knew exactly what to do to brighten both my hair and mood. She added the perfect, natural-looking highlights; and, even though my hair is still very short, she cut it to add some much-needed funk. I am now sporting both a style I love and a wider smile!

Karena is awesome, personable and knowledgeable. I have been going to her for years and so happy she has her own place. She uses great technique and the salon is gorgeous. She cuts my eleven year old daughters hair as well and she always looks great. Highly recommend.

I went to Karena for the first time yesterday. I could tell immediately that she was warm and friendly, and ready to get to know me. Karena had texted me even before I got to the salon in order to ask me some general questions about my hair and what I would like her to do. Karena was meticulous while cutting my hair, and she took her time. I can remember only a few times in my life when someone took such great care while cutting and styling my hair.
