Grace working me in while I'm in town on business, she was wonderful! Did a lovely job on my trim and was super personable. I would return for the 3 hour trip for another trim! The lovely lady who washed my hair nearly put me to sleep with a gentle head massage and wash and great conversation. They even worked in my girlfriend for hair cut with no issue. Definitely recommend!
I don't get my hair cut often, but when I do it will be @ The Hair Studio.. Wandered in and got an appointment with Elizabeth (Not Liz); she was understandably concerned as I sat down and asked how long it had been since I got my haircut (2-3 Months and it grows fast?)... She managed to listen to my needs and gave me a haircut that is both low maintenance and makes me look like a contributing member of society.
Need to shorten my haircut intervals now that I found THE place..

This was my first time there. Grace was great and messaged me that she'd had a cancelation so I was able to get in earlier. The gal who washed my hair... it was more like a massage than hair washing and it was great! Grace listened to what I was asking for and gave me exactly what I wanted. They were recommended from a Facebook group. I'll definitely be going back! Happy to find someone local. Affordable at $40 for a cut and no blow dry.
This is a cute salon! The atmosphere is great, and the staff is wonderful! Today I got my haircut by Gwen! She did an outstanding job. Also got my hair shampooed my Jessica, I could be wrong on the name there. She was great also. It irks my nerves if I get water in my ears not a drop. If anyone is looking for a new salon or stylist this is the place, I highly recommend Gwen

Best hair cut ever. Elizabeth did an awesome job. Never going back to Hair Biz, never got a professional hair cut there. Not very experienced people. Go to Hair Studio you will not be sorry.
I've been salon hopping for the past 2 yrs after moving to Lothian. I think I've finally found the one! Elizabeth gave me one of the cutest cuts I've ever had. She was friendly and did exactly what I asked. I will DEFINITELY be back!
**UPDATE**Unfortunately, I came back 2 weeks later to give her a try with my hair color. I sat waiting for 30 minutes past my appointment time as she very slowly took her time tying hair tinsel on two clients. Finally, when I was up, she said she was overbooked for the service I came in for ( highlights, lowlights and color ) I was specific when booking, certainly not my fault. Then in an effort to rush my service, another very nice stylist offered to help. ( she had to help her with the tinsel, too ) I was a little worried they would have different patterns on the highlighting and I was right. Once I got home, it was very obvious that my left side had way more highlighting. Then to make matters worse, and this is the thing that actually made me angry, was I asked her to make TWO SMALL SNIPS to the back of an otherwise great haircut. (See original post) She ended up chopping up the entire hair cut and then charged me for it! I paid $185 plus $40 tip and now have a haircut I have to wrestle with every single day. I will NEVER be back
Was my first time here and I loved what Elizabeth did. All the experience was fabulous, all the girls were super nice with me and I just showed a picture of what I wanted and I get it. I recommend this place 100%.
