Found by chance when perusing the menu of a more expensive establishment. Inside was too busy for nine of us but in the small yet quaint courtyard we managed to shuffle a few tables together to accommodate our needs. The food was delicious and reasonably priced... the pot of tea was enormous and required a strong arm to lift and pour! The staff were very friendly especially one gentleman in particular who instigated much banter. Would definitely visit again... highly recommended.

Our go-to cafe in Bridport for breakfast or lunch. Great food at very competitive prices. Staff that always welcome and Mike is a great host. If you are just visiting or live in the area make it your go to cafe. Probably the best in town!! And I mustn’t forget to mention the great playlists that accompany any visit.
Our go to place for breakfast or coffee and cake, good clean English breakfast and the best cheese scones and Dorset apple cake for miles. Dog friendly too.
In addition to my earlier review (below) I can now add, having become a serial Bubble and Squeaker, that the all day breakfast is well worth a go... really good local bacon, sausage, perfect egg... mushos, beans, BLACK PUDDING, hash brown... excellent toast... if you find yourself hungry in Bridport (and you can get in!) You won't get scrummier anywhere else...
We first visited a few months ago when house-hunting, and it's now become our Go-To breakfast and lunch stop... yesterday I tried the bubble and squeak will bacon and poached egg. Yes YES YES! absolutely top tuck and extremely good value for money. Staff are absolutely charming, friendly and helpful... the coffee is excellent... Top marks!
We come here every year on our annual girls trip. The owners are so friendly - love it!
Teapot was the biggest I've ever seen!
Been twice now and both times the food was tasty, the vibe and staff were personable and warm, and the value was excellent. New local fave.
Can recommend the pancakes, veggie breakfast and had a lunch special another day (Mac n cheese). All delish!
Busy, buzzy, always friendly. Sit inside or in the courtyard and enjoy their generous pots of tea, lovely cakes, or tasty lunches.
Great coffee and toasted tea cake in popular cafe off the main High Street. Very friendly staff. Plan to return for breakfast at the end of our holiday!
