We were staying close by The Green Man. Google recommended it for some good food… It.was.Amazing!
The Food, the Service, the Welcome, the location, even the selection of music. The Gammon was cooked to perfection and the chicken was succulent, not too dry. If you’re after proper food, good value for money, a friendly, professional, warm welcome then ‘The Green Man’ is the place. You will not be disappointed. Thank you for the experience and the service. ????
Had a lovely meal. Great menu. Staff very helpful. Highly recommend ????
Came here for a meal a few times and the value for why you get is amazing. Will always remember Shannon and Dagan the two behind the bar staff are one in a million. 100% recommend
food wasn't good. waiters were unfriendly. their Angus burger was nothing like an Angus burger and it was horrible. my friend didn't eat his. my pulled pork jacket potato was alright. their lamb shank was a bit smelly and quite hard. we didn't enjoy our lunch here.
Reasonable food for a reasonable price, nicely consistent as with other green king pubs.
Very good service and atmosphere, with a wood fire and good clientele
Nice friendly pub, with a beer garden and food. The food is served in good hearty portions. The fish and chips (Friday) is highly reccomended!
Me and a couple of friends came up to cambridge for some camping. About 10-15 minuet walk from the campsite is the green man. The Guinness i had was pretty good. Yhe food however was rather disappointing. Just over £10 for a burger and fries. You can get the same portion sized meal and better quality for half the price at the kebab shop in royston. The burger was luke warm, the beef patty was way over cooked (yet still, luke warm). Cheese wasnt melted. The burger buns where just typical cheap bought kebab shop buns, which again, you get Better quality at the kebab shop in royston. Every thing was really dry, buns, patty bacon, and cheese.. all dry. To make things worse are the ketchup packets. You know when you go to use the ketchup at home and dont shake it before opening it, you get that liquidy juice bit. Some how, they have managed to fill a packet of just that. was just disappointing. At least the staff where friendly
???? the worst Sunday Roast I've ever had ???? where do i start.... the portions where tiny and came out cold ???? I've had better microwave meals! And to top it off it was nearly £18 and a coke was £4.40 and the service was rude and intimidating. I don't think I've ever gave a bad review before but after hearing so many people out in the garden complaining I thought I must to stop people wasting there time and money in this shocking place. Reviews about this place speaks volumes. I wouldn't be surprised if this place closes down soon.
