I was ready to try Greek salad with salmon & gyro with my John Jay College sweetheart, but they never came to take the order. Also, I cleaned the roadside, picking up crushed cans and bottles which were spoiling the roadside view. This was my first and last time. I'm never going there again. Even though the manager seemed good, the waitress couldn’t handle the busy time. I even tried to call her, but she never came back once she saw my sweetie talking on the phone. Very disappointing.
Comfort Greek food that is reasonably priced with fast service.
Baba ganoush was good and so were the gyros. Greek fries were super interesting. The gyro platter is more worth it for the amount of meat.
Got seated quickly, and excellent service.
Great value for what we ordered.
Definitely a good spot of you're looking for quick bite on a weekend.
Food was excellent here! I got the vegetable moussaka and it was outstanding, big portion, too. The octopus appetizer was also delicious!
Nice gyro. We had good size baklava for dessert, enough to share.
Good communal service. Friendly staff.
Feel good restaurant
I have been to this restaurant twice. When I brought two friends once, a new lady staff added a 20% service charge directly to my bill. I expressed confusion and asked if you had changed the policy? She removed it immediately. At the same time, only our table encountered this situation. I wonder if this is because of the background we look at? Very disappointed.
The food was fine, but not exceptionally good. Drinks rather expensive. The cheapest white wine costs 10€. The price is also only mentioned on request. Service good. 20% tip on the bill is unfortunately too much! That annoyed us in the end. Almost $100 for a simple dinner in a rustic atmosphere, without appetizers and dessert are too much even for Manhattan.
Every time I go to Mount Sinai West I like to stop here. Food is always good and the service is great. Today my cappuccino with sambuca was perfect as was my hungry greek.
