Placed at the last minute, the Fife forgot my booking. Positive was fantastic fish and chips. No soap for shower in morning but l would go back for the chat at the bar and food. Gartg McFadden visiting Oakwood Cooperage can l bring Molly?
Food was great, menus different from the usual stuff you normally see can't wait to go back and try more dishes. Will stay over and sample rooms too. Nice bar too. With darts, pool, jukebox. Clean & modern. Well worth a visit.
Myself and 2 friends booked a table for an afternoon tea at the Grampian Hotel.... well what can I say it was outstanding !! |We have been for a few afternoon teas in different places ,this one blew the rest out of the water ,you got the sandwiches 4 savouries (different than the normal and delicious) the scone and 4 sweet treats (meringue,rocky roads,banana bread ,mini Victoria sponges) and any amount of teasvn coffees |The staff were VERY attentive both while at the afternoon tea and through in the bar too .. lovely girls |We will definitely be back ...planning it already |Well done everyone !|

Possibly the worst hotel I’ve stayed, room untidy, no shower instructions, no window in the room, overall not a pleasant experience wouldn’t recommend
Simple clean comfortable rooms with good breakfast, all at low prices. But on Friday night there was a disco in the bar right below our rooms which went on past midnight, preventing sleep. If these rooms are let at all on disco nights people should be warned!
Fresh food, well prepared. Great service. Pleasant atmosphere. Prices reasonable. Hope I can visit again sometime.
What can I say? My first time in for an afternoon tea and it was excellent. The sandwiches, hot food, scones and fine cakes we just amazing. Plenty tea and coffee too! I had to take food home with me as there was too much. The price was great for what you got. I would highly recommend and I'll certainly be back again.
