Great friendly pub, nice beer, v good bar menu and comfy surroundings and plenty of parking.
I had a great stay at the Fox Inn. Very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is a man versus food challenge. Beautifully presented, locally sorced and very tasty. Thank you very much. I will definitely recommend here to anyone I know.
Under new management and has only just reopened. We had Sunday lunch there today and it was excellent. Very friendly, great decor a local inviting pub, shall definitely go again. The chef was personal cook for many years to a well known television celebrity. Highly recommended. Wish you well.
Lovely little pub. Stumbled across it as we left Thetford forest, on one of the hottest days of the year so far. Had a delicious quiche, new potatoes and salad sat in the garden. Plenty of shade and a nice breeze. Really enjoyed our lunch out after the months of lockdown.
Friendly, welcoming, good beer and simple hot food. One of the few places open on a Monday evening. Not the smartest or hippest place, but an honest village pub. Wouldn't hesitate to go back
Just had Steak on a Stone - new on the menu tonight and I have to say (and I've had a lot of steak) that this is the best food we have had in a long time. Steak (cooked to our own taste) chips, peas, mushrooms, homemade onion rings, and salad (avocado, watermelon, cheese, beef tomatoes and cucumber). Amazing food amazing atmosphere can't wait until next time ????????????
Sunday lunch was excellent with a pile of vegetables and a superb offering. Nethergate bitter was well kept. The hosts Billy and Janet were friendly and helpful. Cara behind the bar was attentive and kept the wine flowing. I think I will be back often.
Been to the Honington fox for Sunday lunch and what a great lunch hot and plenty of it.
it was recommended to me & I will recommend it to anyone who likes a full plate of hot quality roast, all the hosts were miles above average and even the locals are friendly.
Will I go back ? You dam bet I will, I don't drink bear. ( Driving. ) But the orange & lemonade. ( Try it )
