It's a new restaurant that shows promise. The staff are obviously new, but polite and helpful, could be a bit more attentive, but that will come with experience. The menu is mixed, with Tapas, pasta, grill, but we chose pizzas. They were tasty with a good tomato sauce and the onion Ham and Chianti beef were very good, just could do with a bit more topping and the base a little bit more crispy. The salad was excellent. Puddings were again tasty, just the small squares of toffee fudge were too hard for an ice cream dessert. Price was about right at £60 for 2 (2 courses and a drink each). Bit of a wait for desserts, but again probably due to teaching problems.
Absolutely fantastic the food was amazing. The breakfast was so good we went back for lunch and we weren’t disappointed. The carbonara was the best we had had by a mile. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
We sort of met there by mistake! It was, however, very pleasant. It wasn't busy, and the atmosphere was probably created by the 6 of us (three couples) who met there. Location opposite the pier is good, potentially with good views (I sat with my back to the window). We ordered a range of different coffees (on this occasion, decaf wasn't available), but, yeah, I would go there again.
Firstly, the waitress (working alone) was doing her utmost in clearly difficult circumstances, it is not easy to do this job when you are not given the appropriate tools.
Only instant coffee available - which was very disappointing. We then waited 50 minutes for the breakfast, which when it came was "ok" apart from the fact that the toast looked like it had been cooked with a hairdryer, and sadly was mouldy, which is inexcusable. Egg shells were also present in the poached eggs.
Overall, a poor experience and would not rush back, however a shout out to the waitress who was polite and clearly trying her hardest with no help.
We stopped in here today for lunch and was really impressed. The atmosphere is suitable and not pretentious or trying to be something it’s not, it’s clean and inviting. The service from Florentine was outstanding. He simply couldn’t do enough to make sure we enjoyed our meals. We all had different meals and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. The food was hot and fresh, and portion sizes were overly generous. Definitely will be back and recommend to others.
Very happy, well presented good atmosphere. Excellent price, probably my new brunch spot
We had the best dining experience I've ever had in a Kent restaurant tonight. From the moment my party of four stepped in the front door, until we left over two hours later, we had great service and food that cannot be faulted. The staff was smiling and welcoming, the food was prompt, hot, and delicious. All the other diners were relaxed and cheerful which reflects on their positive experience.
The venue has been newly converted from a dingy Italian eatery, into a fresh, light-hearted destination that I will be recommending to all my friends who love Mediterranean cuisine. I'll be coming back as soon as I'm able. Remember to book ahead, it's becoming so popular you'll not be finding a vacancy.

Let me start by saying I have no business interest or connection with any restaurant. Our first try was full, so my wife and I thought we'd give The Fox a go.
First impressions were good, greeted well and given our table quickly (it was very quiet). Cappuccino was excellent, good strength coffee and the right temperature. Menu gave a choice of tomatoes and bread but only poached eggs were listed. After ordering, we were told there is a choice of fried, scrambled or poached eggs (please amend the menu to reflect that choice).
We went for the Small and Traditional breakfasts, both seemed to be a good size. We'd overhead one of the waiters saying the breakfast cook used to be at Wellington's, so we were expecting a high standard. I'll start with the positives: poached eggs were good, sausage excellent, brown toast good but already buttered (margarine). Negatives: White toast too thin and hard, bacon cremated and hard, "grilled" tomatoes anything but, they had not been halved and not cooked through, black pudding under done and cheap baked beans.
We relayed our complaint to the waitress, who just said, "Oh, sorry about " took our plates. The senior waiter should have been called over and our complaint taken seriously and addressed.
My breakfast, 6 out of 10, my wife's 3 out of 10.
I accept it's only the second day of serving breakfast but must do better. This has put us off trying their evening menu.
