If I could rate zero, I would. We arrived at 9am. Ordered the farm breakfast and 2 pancakes. An hour and 10 minutes later we got our food. That's ok, I understand they were busy. What I do not understand is that 3 different tables that arrived after us with more food ordered, received their food before we did. They did credit the pancakes as to the wait. I did not eat the bacon because it was hard as a rock and cold. My son only ate 1 pancake because he said they were cold and would not melt the butter they gave with them. First time trying, and will also be last.
Great food. Kind and friendly service. Workers took time to have a conversation and made my visit enjoyable. If you haven't been there you are missing out. Definitely worth the drive.
We travel all over the state of Ky while riding our motorcycle. This experience rates as our worst so far. We never got our food in that we left before it had arrived. We waited over 50 minutes after ordering and watched as a table that had ordered 2 minutes prior to us receive their meal, slowly eat, get their check and then start to leave. We then observed another table that had arrived after us get their meals. At that time we decided it was best for us to leave. The waitress had never check on us nor provided an explanation as to why our food was so late. We only received a very simple "sorry" when we stated we were leaving. The orders were simple - eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy and hashbrowns. We won't be back.
Went to The Farm House for lunch today. I ate the frog legs and my friend had cod. They were both good but my frog legs were a little greasy. The service was fast and friendly. Also got a chicken salad to go and it was still fresh and warm when I got home.
It was a great atmosphere. Seen a lot of old friends. The food was delicious, and our waitress was on top of her game. She even ran out and caught me when I forgot my phone, oh, and my bill. LOL! I didn't forget on purpose. I'm use to paying at the table, and leaving at most of the restaurants at home. I felt so stupid!! We will be back!!
This place is amazing. A new Old timey general store with the best restaurant around. Great food, good specials. Their prices are so low I feel like I'm stealing the food.
The food is sooo good! Service is usually great (Valentines day was extra busy so it was hard to keep up with everything). The desserts will make your day. They always put their specials on Facebook so you can see what you want before you go.
Service was average we just picked the wrong time to go they were so busy with carryouts that it took forever to get our food. It was worth the wait. They kept it so cold in there it was uncomfortable
