Great food on the Gulf..variety of outdoor seating. Nice vibe. Open to everyone, even if you're not staying at the Lodge.
Visited the pool as a guest of Gulf State Park cabins. Very nice atmosphere here by the Dragonfly. Great views! Food was good, but pricey - to be expected at beach venues.
Would have given 5 stars across the board had they not advertised a gluten free crust for their Flatbread then told us they were out after we'd ordered. The gluten free crust on their online menu was pretty much the only reason we chose it.
Great location & view though.
Sat at the bar and had excellent service (even though they were busy). Drank the Lodge Rum Runner and Shock Top Beer. Ordered the Flat Bread Mighty Meat and Fried Pickles. Both were great. If you are staying at The Lodge at Gulf State Park, you can't go wrong with The Dragonfly!
Gorgeous spot by the water! Location is amazing! Good drinks. Good food. And service is great. Live music and fun outdoor atmosphere! So nice to have this gem ???? in Gulf Shores. ????
We ate and got drinks at the Dragonfly. It's very accessible for families and children. It's located poolside at the Lodge at Gulf State Park. One thing to be aware of is it closes at 7pm. So I had to hurry off the beach to get dinner before it closed. The food was excellent and very filling. I think we spent less than going to the resturant adjacent to the hotel. It was very convenient also because you could be in beach/swim wear and not have to change.
@tashaonpaper for ig-Quality sandwiches! About $14-15 a sandwich, you'd think mayyyyybe it would be overpriced-BUT we were delighted to realize it was worth it! The timing was perfect, not too long of a wait on a weekday for lunch. Pictured here, we had a chicken sandwich-EXTREMELY JUICY, with roasted sweet red pepper and pickle, and then the IMPOSSIBLE Vegan Banh Mi (a Vietnamese style sandwich-google it), which i found to be quite possible, only suggestion was that maybe they upgrade/change the daikon/carrot/cucumber slaw (that's typically on it) to be MORE spicy! ALSO-HOW? HOW does this impossible meat texture feel and taste like juicy melt-away steak? ????...anyway, both sandwiches came with "just okay" potato chips that appear to be homemade, but i could opt for a better side, maybe they'll change it up in the future? The customer service was concise, i find that to be great, and not rude at all. Some ppl may want more of a talkative interaction when it comes to ordering food at a place like this, not me. I like when people who take my order are clear, concise, and helpful when asked. Not too friendly or overly chatting. Im on vacation after all, Im not trying to spend a lot of time forming rapport with hotel restaurant workers or staff.
We love this little pool/grill bar at the Hilton. It is a definite stop every time we go to Gulf Shores. The food is so good and comes out quick and hot and they are so accommodating with any requests. Grab their specialty margarita and a mojito, sit on the porch to watch the happenings out in the gulf.
