On 18th January 2020 I came to join my family for my 50th birthday celebrations. I was overwhelmed when I walked into the dolls house unknown to me a surprise party was organised and we had a fantastic night. Great venue highly recommended keep up the good work...

Great pub, lovely staff, good craic and punters. Fab band (Temporary Chaos). Can't comment on beer (I'm a non-drinker). Only thing stopping this pub getting 5⭐from me is lack of nearby parking but that seems to be the same all over Abertillery? I'll be happy to be right on that point. Will definitely visit again.
Great venue! Definitely a superb place to watch a live band. They've worked really hard upstairs to make a stage area, though a few too many tables IMHO. You don't want to watch bands sitting down.

never a bad experience in the dolls, good variation of bands upstairs and friendly staff. drinks are reasonably priced and an assessable smoking area which is covered and has benches so can sit down outside as well as in. highly recommended
