When we visited this pub had a fantastic atmosphere. The landlord and bar staff were excellent, welcoming, chatty and amicable, all what pub owners and staff should be. A couple of hand drawn beers on tap, and selection of lagers, wines & spirits on offer. Will definitely return here for a beer.
Absolutely incredible vibe! Didn't expect Addiscombe to have a place like this.
Some old folks were doing karaoke while we went -- it was a bit noisy, but some of them had absolutely fantastic voices.
THE BIGGEST RIP-OFF PUB IN CROYDON. THEY CHARGED ME NEARLY £7 FOR A PINT OF STELLA. IT IS PLACED IN SHABBY SUBURBIA, IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE, YET THEY CHARGE YOU LIKE YOU ARE IN THE WESTEND. I CHALLENGED THE PUB LANDLORD (OR WHOEVER WAS DEPUTISING) ON THE EXTORTIONATE PRICE TO GAUGE HIS INTEGRITY AND HE PROVED ME RIGHT. VERY LOW STANDARDS. WHAT A JOKE OF A PLACE. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.
Good sized pub with ample of seats in the front outdoor and indoor. Good vibes and cheerful crowd. Large selection of beers on tap.
Visited on a Tuesday night, it was quiet, service was prompt, and there was football on low, which didn't spoil the relaxed atmosphere.
The premises is bright,clean, and comfortable,with a good display of spirits,lager,and real ????.

If I could leave zero stars I would. Please ignore the star rating of this pub as it has been run well till the landlady left 3 months ago. My dad booked a month In advance to hold my mother's wake there and as soon as Brian the 'landlord' and I say that lightly, heard his friend needed that date to hold his own event there we got swept under the rug and told the place could no longer accommodate us. All the staff are leaving and the atmosphere has gone. Thanks for running what was a great pub into the
ground in the space of less then 3 months.
I've been there three times, not much of an atmosphere going on.
The heating was off....it probably is a nice pub .. But I'm new to this pub... but I will come back ... Guinness is Good.????
Great pub, great staff, friendly customers and huge beer garden. Beer is all good. Clean throughout including the toilets.
