To start, I'm sure this place is amazing for most. It just seemed more about glam than anything. It was a wait to be seated and served at the table place which caught me off guard and felt too serious for a milkshake place. Our server was nice, and accommodations for the milkshake were handled great. The milkshakes were 15 dollars, and the kids were about 9. Overall, we spent over $80 for 2 adults and 4 kids to get something. I got a coffee milkshake, and I didn't enjoy it at all. It was mini marshmallows from coco packets and a ton of chocolate. Nothing tasted like coffee, and I ended up throwing it out, and the donut on top was very box tasting My husband got a root beer float, which was the only thing finished it was good. Everything was very overdone and seemed to just throw Walmart condiments in a jar. The whipped cream was not good either. We didn't appreciate the tastes of them at all. The outside area had a couple of games and lights. The sink area is provided to help clean the jars when you're done, which is cute, but the water pressure was not enough to rinse your hand off after. The service was fine it was just more of a place for Instagram photos than it was for flavor.
This was 100% a fun experience! The food is insane and feels like it was taken out of a kids TV show—it was definitely good, full of sugar, and hilarious watching it come to the table and saying “This is huge!”
The wait was not long at all. We came during a rush shortly after opening and were seated within 10 minutes. The only issue was the space given to customers who had to wait. There was limited seating, and those who had to stand were constantly in the way of entrances/exits or waiters moving about.
If you order a regular size Crazy Mason, you get to keep the cup. The wash station was crowded because there was only two sinks available and it was a little bit difficult to get the cup fully clean in a fast manner.
Despite that, this is a nice memory of the family to keep and look back on. Expect to spend around $16 per person, be in and out within 30-45 minutes, and ready to take a sugar nap! We ordered a s’mores mason, a cookie dream mason, a banana split mason, and an acai bowl—everyone loved them.
What an amazing ice cream experience! Fun for all ages!! The atmosphere is great and staff friendly. Take your pick of any ice cream! You can't go wrong. This is the second one I have been to, and I love collecting the mason jars from different states. Each state has their own signature ice cream in a mason jar. Amazing. Check them out and enjoy!
I was here with my mother for mothers Day weekend. The service was great. The atmosphere was very nice, clean, and welcoming. The hostess greeted us right away, and my mom loved her ice cream. I love that my daughter got to keep her mug that came with chocolate chip cookies and was decorated so beautify. They had a spot where you cleaned your mug so that you could take it with you. I loved the decor. Prices were not too bad. Although I wanted the peach cobbler to go, it was too small for $10.00. Overall, I enjoyed this place.
Always wanted to visit, am I going back every week? No, but I'd definitely recommend going if it's even once. When I got home I had to drink plenty of water. Liked the fact that we could have a sit down and games for kids too, environment was clean and they checked constantly to see if we were doing okay
This place is pure indulgence and decadence! Quite possibly the best ice cream and dessert ever! We went here following my daughter’s college graduation dinner and had a great time. The menu choices and flavors are never ending, and I’m not sure you could go wrong with any of them. We even tried the ice cream taco for Cinco de Mayo!
Sophia was our waitress and she made the experience even better. She was very friendly and responsive, while doing so with a smile. Crazy Mason is a can’t miss outing in Myrtle Beach, and definite fun for the whole family. Thanks.
We really enjoyed stopping here for dessert. They offered 2 dairy free (vegan) milkshakes and 3 dairy free icecreams; the cookies and cream one I had was very tasty. Also they were large portions. You could easily share one mason jar between two people. The manager was super polite and checked with us regularly. This was a great experience worth the price and you get a mason jar to take home! We would love to come back again and to see more of these in KY.
Only real complaint was I personally would of liked more vegan options but even having 3 is a huge factor in even trying this place.
Make sure to try the banana split we will be coming to get more before we leave!
So glad crazy mason moved into a stand-alone location. So many different options to choose from! Decadent fun desserts all around. We love going for the seasonal flavors/specials that they have!
