Afternoon Tea. Booked in for my birthday and did not disappoint! The cakes are all home made and we've been in a few times and always been impressed. The savouries were soo good tho! Chicken and pesto was our favourite! Tea or coffee included for the amazing price of £15 a head. So much left over we brought four cakes back each!
Food was very nice but the service was very nervous. The girl who served us seemed to be paralysed with fear. I don't know if she was intimidated by us, was in fear of the owner or it was a simple lack of confidence, but it wasn't welcoming. She could try relaxing. smiling and engaging with the customers a bit more. Also, we arrived before 15:30 and they close at 16:00 but were clearly trying to start closing and were only accepting customers who wanted just tea or coffee and cake which fits with at least one other reviee here. I never understand why some places advertise a closing time which is deceptive.
Fantastic home made baking. Always delicious and fresh. Best lentil soup in town served with fresh sour dough bread! I love it and the grand kids do too! Yummy wholesome food
Got a takeaway afternoon tea for Mother's Day. Excellent value for money. Rolls, sausage rolls, scones, cupcakes and cakes all fresh and tasted amazing. Plenty to go round. Thank you ????
Popped in for a quick coffee and was pleasantly surprised on how good the coffee and scones were.
The Piping hot coffee was served in a mug and a great tasting scone.
Sheena made us most welcome in the small but cosy tearoom.
I'll certainly be back.
Brilliant little tearoom! Always a lovely atmosphere, generous portions of delicious home cooked food. Definitely my top coffee house in town.
Got one of your too good to go bags ..omg superb ..the rasand pomegranate cream sponge cake was to die for ,superb quality and service .
I had a wonderful time at this cosy cute cafe in the heart of Linlithgow! I had heard the locals rave about this place so I had to go in a try it myself. The service was amazing- the owner welcomed me with a smile and even offered to whip the cream for my scone fresh for me then and there! The coffee and scone were amazing, I will be coming back for sure- all the way from Australia ☺️
