If you want a great coffee, come here! My husband and I order vanilla iced lattes everywhere we go, and we decided to try this coffee shop unexpectedly when the one we were originally going to was closed. To our surprise this coffee was not only AMAZING, but so well priced! Only $3 for a large iced latte! And the lady who made our drinks was so nice, we really felt welcomed. Also they had so many delicious looking deserts that were so tempting, but I am eating clean right now so I will be back another time for those! We took our coffees to go, but the atmosphere was very nice and cozy, lots of people enjoying their coffees. Very pleasant experience here and a delicious coffee that I will be back for again ????????
Really enjoyed! Great tasting coffee for a great price. The lady was nice and it's such a down to earth coffee shop. Lots of seating both indoor and outdoors. Not hipster,, not fancy.. just good coffee.. They sell different cakes, muffins and pastries.
First rate espresso and coffee, super friendly service with local neighborhood vibe. Pull up a chair, relax and enjoy great coffee with friends and family at this southside hidden gem Cafe.
Heineken! Says it all. I should have followed my intuition upon seeing it… HEINEKEN, not coffee. I went for an espresso drink… a quad mocha. That, in itself, was comical… “Quad? I’m not Starbucks!” Good to hear, because I don’t like Starbucks. I thought perhaps he was German, but I’m told Russian. His food and other drinks may be great and I liked the tucked away atmosphere, but… espresso… he eyeballed it… how much coffee was in his portafilter, hitting the grinder again. Then, he didn’t tamp it… only enough to level the coffee. The shots were long… a lungo, not an espresso shot. Steamed the milk too hot, over 160°, maybe 180°. The two drinks were under $10, but after tasting, we tipped and dumped our mochas. I think I would have preferred Starbucks.
This was the first time that my partner and I came here and we got two different styles of coffee drinks. An espresso base drink, and a brewed coffee based drink. Both were extremely weak, having almost no coffee flavor. The milk was prepared to have huge bubbles (as in soap bubbles size), which is definitely a skill, just not one that I prefer in my coffee.
The vibe is definitely clubby and had some kind of late 90s early 2000s boy band playing. The listings for this place clearly mentioned that so no points off for being what they said they were.
The highlight of the visit was the barista. She was super nice and friendly and I really enjoyed talking to her. If this review was on the coffee alone, this would be a one or two star. But the barista was a perfect five for personality.
Also, prices were extremely reasonable. Both of our coffee drinks totaled less than six dollars. If we had gone to a chain coffee shop, it would’ve easily been double.
Such a hidden gem of a coffee shop! The decor is chic, beautiful Florida artwork, and the music was upbeat. There was a television, so definitely a possibility for watching events. I had a great Cuban coffee and was able to get lots of work done. They have several areas where you can plug in your computer, as well as comfy chairs and couches. I like working at a table, so was happy for that option. Indoor and outdoor seating. Some bakery goods, snacks, sodas, teas, and other beverages are available for those who do not drink coffee or chai.
Are you kidding me!? $1.90 for a GREAT double espresso and a $1.40 for a large coffee. Nice vibe, indoor- outdoor tables. Great service, go another 100ft behind Dunkin! And support a small business, use ???? cash!
So good coffee with affordable price.
Been there couple times and enjoyed having coffee and cheese danish.
Ask for coffee of the day dark roasted.
