This review is long overdue. Got my first tattoo ever 10/22/22 at an age of 50+ years, unfortunately a tribute to my oldest son who passed away.
I was very nervous to say the least. Tony was cool and calm, explained everything, his shop is small and cozy and clean. The same idea that I had sketched out for a tat was already sitting at his station like it was waiting for me. My son's name is also Anthony. And the shop's address contains significant numbers for my family. I knew I was in the right place! Things went well and my tattoo came out beautifully. So glad I found City of Angels!
Great experience with Puppet! He did an awesome job with a photorealistic tattoo of my dog!
First tattoo’s I’ve ever gotten. Puppet did a great job creating exactly what I wanted. Clean, fresh, and cool atmosphere. Price was reasonable and great. Would highly recommend!
Once again, I had a GREAT experience receiving a tattoo from puppet. The atmosphere is relaxing, he is professional, tools are clean and fresh, his designing skills are out of this world. Line work really highlights his mastery as an artist. I will come to him every time without fail for my tattoos! Highly recommend !!!
Believe it or not, I stumbled upon Puppet and COA by chance.
That day I had spontaneously gone to get tatted at a different place near me. (One which I had been to before). However, it was one late Sunday afternoon, and *thankfully* (as it turns out) that place was fully booked.
I was determined not to starve my impulsivity though and once back in my truck, I hit up Google. *City Of Angels* COA - the only place still open, so off I went. I actually think I got pretty lucky with walking in just when I did. It was simply meant to be.
Puppet is a true artist. Sitting there getting poked by him, I felt like I had come home.
As a matter of fact, just a few days later he made time for my daughter to get her very first tattoo, before heading off to college.
I can't even envisage going anywhere else, for my/any future tattoos!
- I'll keep comin' till I get kicked out, lol.

Tony is an amazing artist the thin lines are astonishing super impressed by the cleanliness of his establishment- so happy with our results. Will definitely be back for more.
We had such a good experience! Puppet was able to freehand our stencil and it looked beautiful. He was able to work with us on sizing to make sure it was exactly what we were looking for. I would highly recommend!
Scam!!!! They scammed me of 100 dollars and tried to scam me for me the owner kept asking for a deposit down for a consultation which is very weird. Second of all he kept saying he wasn’t getting my payments and it said they were processed. He is fake and I can’t believe I fell for it. They don’t answer the phone they send you a text message saying how can I help you an hour later after you call up. Please don’t fall for it this place is a total scam and stole my money!!!
