My first meal in Ullapool did not disappoint! The fish was so fresh and the crispy batter was perfect. It was a good-sized portion of fish and lots of chips. They also offered a gluten-free option!
We called here for a takeaway. Fish was delicious and my husband loved the battered haggis. Ok portions. Chips were good as chips go, the only real let down for me was the gravy just tasted like bisto. Found it quite pricey for a takeaway chippy.
I have been to this take away on many occasions it really is a treat. I always have fish and chips and you get a very generous portion. They also will give you a bit of lemon and tartare sauce to complement it. I hadn't been here for a couple of years, but as far as I am concerned it is worth the trip to come to Ullapool for your fish supper from this place.
How this place only gets three stars is beyond me. I would give it ten stars if I could it is so good.
Honestly still can’t believe I was charged £12 for two sausages… and £3 to have cheese put on a burger! Absolute robbery ????. The food was mediocre at best also! And what chippy makes you put your own salt and vinegar on the chips out of cheap packets?! Avoid and go to another chip shop… there are much better ones in the area!

A massive AVOID. The bad reviews are spot on. The service was really good but the food is beyond subpar. Just overall disgusting - the fish was essentially still swimming in oil - soggy bits of batter and the fish was slightly undercooked. The chips unfortunately did not provide any sort of relief - white/pale yellow with a bad taste. Do yourself a favour and save yourself the hassle and avoid!
Old Non local woman behind counter rude and un helpful to previous customer , who only wanted a receipt for his dinner .

Go to the other chippy around the corner it explains why there was no one in this one and the other one was super busy ! This chip shop used to be good !
Went in to order X2 sausages, no batter, no chips and absolutely shocked that they tried to charge £12, for X2 sausages which cost penny's to get in. Safe to say I did not buy them, crazy prices.
