Best KPortal Reviews

Came here for dinner due to recommendation. It is a really beautiful old building with real character.
It had nice beers and a fair selection of food.
We shared a starter and then had some steak and chips plus hake and veg with 2 rounds of beer.
The service was good and the quality of the food was good, with the steak being a little overdone.
Overall a lovely experience. Recommend
This was the best place for vegetarians in Dartmouth by far.
The food was lovely and a great choice for vegetarians and vegans.
The staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Also gave us some great recommendations of where to go for drinks afterwards. Although it's a lovely pub to drink at too.
The building is beautiful and really well kept. Keeping it's old feel but also felt very clean. It's right in the centre too.
My partner and I couldn't fault our experience here.
Fantastic pub, full of history. Lovely atmosphere with a fire going on a cold and rainy April Saturday. Very dog friendly with water and treats offered. Very good priced menu, refreshing after seeing the prices some other pubs were charging. Went for seafood sharing platter which was amazing as per photo.
Really quaint happy pub with great food and drinks. Rosey cider was just as intended, a good lunch menu both cooked and sandwich fayre. Seafood salad sandwich was full to the brim, fresh and tasty. Steak and kidney pudding with mash divine and not greasy. The haddock mash just brilliant . Prices where not extortionate, the staff very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
We came here again for New Year’s Eve as we had such a fabulous time two years ago. We got our seats at 6pm as we knew it was going to be busy. We spent a lot of money near on £200 between us. The music as great and it comes to 11:15 and a bell rings. We assumed it was getting ready for count down but no. It was last orders!! We had to be out by 11:30pm! At no point did they mention that they would be closing early. Worse than that, I wrote to them via messenger as to why they closed early only to be lied to that they have always closed at 11:30. Two years ago, we were there till gone 1am and have videos of it. Totally ruined our night. Beautiful pub but totally let us down.
Lovely pub that has gone down hill rapidly. Who takes peoples money on New Years Eve and the bar closes at 11:30!!!! Very disappointed and had to go to the seven stars. So dissatisfied after spending £200 on beer.
Lovely little pub, with alot of history, menu looked great although we only stopped in for a drink, would definitely revisit next time there. Really want to try the food. ????
As a pub it's brilliant but food was disappointing... had smoked salmon started .. was a bit of salmon placed on a piece sliced loaf bread ... .main was a lamb shank ... meat was so dry .. mash and veg was fine but the whole thing was covered with a pint of something black split with oil... apparently it was supposed to be red wine sauce
Pub brilliant Food a no no
