Best KPortal Reviews

A fine local, offering a warm welcome and serving (amongst others) a range of Bull of the Woods beers that are brewed just a couple of miles up the road. No regular food, though there are occasional BBQs during the summer, along with year round, well supported events, such as live music and quizzes. The pub comprises a comfortable bar area and a spacious, low maintenance garden, with outdoor heaters available for cooler weather.
The service, atmosphere, and hygiene is one of the best out of all the pubs in Bungay.
The staff behind the bar are lovely and friendly and there is loads of heaters in the outside smoking area too making it comfortable and warm in winter.
Sadly didn't have food on when we visited but beer was great, place was clean and they let us leave a vehicle in the car park to be collected the next day. Proper pub, will be returning.
I had a great evening of drinks with my BroInLaw and his crazy farmer friends!
One of the few pubs left in Bungay town.
I usually judge a good pub based on how friendly the staff are, quality of the beer / ale, and the variety of bar snacks, this place has it all. I will be back!
Lovely people, great food nd drink and very fair pricing.
Iy must have been a good ten years since I was last in here.
And what a transformation.
Great pub with a proper atmosphere.
Some good ales to choose from.
And Rosco is a very warm and welcoming landlord.
Long may it last.
See you again soon we hope.
A lovely pub in the village. Plenty of space to park. Does nice meals and an outdoor seating areaou the back off the road. The ale is well kept you are spoilt for choice in this town. A few days is not enough need a week or more.
Was out for a drive hopefully catch a lunch in area, called at St Peters Brewery, closed (except shop) called at the Buck in Flixton, closed, this is peak holiday time, and places were closed, not happy. So was on way home drive through Bungay suddenly spotted a pub, swung into car park, what a find, the place was spotless, had a drink and some peanuts and crisps, the atmospheric was lovely, very helpful and friendly staff and customers alike. Would 100% recommend sat in garden all new seating and tables, beautiful hanging baskets. If you are just looking for a drink in a friendly place this it
