Great place to stop and walk to the cheesewring and well worth the walk to,lots of things of interest near the carpark to a great photo opportunity.
Our first visit here. Parked to enjoy the walk and birds. Plenty of spaces as we got here early but got busier up to lunchtime. Lovely view and FREE!!
A free car park in the midst of wonderful countryside. Close to interesting industrial archeology, a large stone circle and beautiful hilltops.
Great place to park to wonder along the Moor to the Cheesewring, or just to sit & enjoy the superb view's. Also great for picnics.
Large, convenient car park with plenty of space.
As a carpark, I couldn't fault it. A little rustic in places but on the whole acceptable. No space markings which was a shame but we sorted that out ourselves. Nice crunch of gravel underfoot with a few puddles. Just what we wanted at the start of a good walk.
