Popped In Here For A Glass Of Wine & Sausages For My Dog, Having A Well Needed Night Away.
Lovely Pub, Great Location & DogFriendly
Decent seaside pub offering fairly decent priced food and drinks. There is a large beer garden overlooking the harbour. We were there on a Sunday afternoon and there was live music outside in the beer garden. Service was pretty quick only downside was they didn't serve hot drinks.
I ordered a homemade curry with chips which I enjoyed,my friend ordered an hawaian pizza he thought it was disgusting,was not cooked properly ,chewy,the staff was nice but we wont be going back.
Fantastic Sunday lunch! We've visited before for steaks and burgers, this time we were looking for a Sunday lunch and The Captains Table didn't disappoint! Plenty of meat, roasties and Yorkshire pud, plus veg and a nice gravy. Added bonus was the cheesy leeks, which were amazing!
Close to harbour popular pub. We Had dog with us so allowed in front bar only which was ok. Tribute beer very good. Had lunchtime baguettes Chinese chicken and smoked salmon and cream cheese. Good value and good portions. Wanted to book a table for evening but couldn't. We went anyway and we're lucky and got a table. Had 2 steaks chips etc. very good. Pepper sauce which came in a gravy boat and was lovely. Order and pay at bar. No tab. Fair enough.
Really lovely attentive staff who made us feel welcome.
Lots to choose from off the menu and it came really quickly after ordering.

Nice place . With outdoor seating available if weather permits.Had dinner from there.Attached with bar. Had prawns ????(scampi), awesome quantity. Limited seats inside. Quick service. Parking space limited.
I couldn’t rate lower than 1 star, ordered a vegetarian pizza and it came with an old piece of pepperoni on the board. Disgusting. Frozen pizza definitely bought from Tesco's opposite. Overpriced! All the glasses were dirty. Wouldn’t recommend.
