Good decent food. Service is good and quick. Also probably the only thing open for hot food service after 330pm until the dinner hours start for the local restaurants 430-530. For foreigners who like Smoked fish give the Cullen skink a shot =)
Lovely little spot, food was spot on - I recommend the cullen skink, everything was clean and really pretty in a shabby chic style.
Disabled loo, easy access and even baby changing supplies make it a good place if you need a little extra. There's a lovely selection of cakes that I missed out on trying, due to being too full from the soup!
Stopped in for a bacon roll and coffee. Very welcoming and friendly despite dripping wet with the rain. Bacon roll and coffee was excellent. Will stop in past again for some lunch as the menu looks good and has a varied choice.
Very friendly family run business. We had the soul of the day, which was the carrot soup and you could really taste that it was homemade, it was Delicious! The Menu is quite small, the burgers are fantastic and you will find something for every taste. Great cakes as well and a lovely homely atmosphere!
Tucked away in a sleepy part of town, this cafe is a nice surprise to stumble upon. The coffee is quite good and the scones and cake were delicious (try a cheddar scone with jam!). It's a casual atmosphere, very clean and friendly staff.
Great little cafe. Although the staff was short on this day and they admitted to a large catering gig that evening, we were pleased at how quickly the food came and how friendly everyone was. Great lunch and the teas and coffees were spot on. Try the desserts too!
Cold and smelt damp. Soup was good but sandwiches were standard. Waitress very friendly but ditsy! Just wanted out, it was more the smell and cold that was off-putting. And the view into the kitchen put me off too.
Not great. Went in for a breakfast, to be told the chef was off and we could only order something on a roll... sorry... since when is an actual chef needed to cook a fry up? They're making sausages etc anyway, why not just do the rest on a plate. Then, oh my god, they gave us our tea, and the bloody milk was off!! We didn't even finish all of it. The rolls aren't even good, couldn't bite the sausage because it was so hard. It's only getting 2 stars because the staff were pleasant enough.
