Best KPortal Reviews

The Bridge Inn in Tibberton is a gorgeous little country/canal-side pub that is warm, comfortable and relaxing.
I heard it’s just had a makeover and been reopened by the new landlady Lynne who was so personable and accommodating during our lunch time there last week.
They have a great range of local beers and the food was fresh, delicious and well priced.
I wish them well in their new venture and look forward to visiting again especially in the summer as they have two great outdoor eating areas and the canal.
Would love this to be my local, live in Gloucester but well worth the wee drive, as we will again

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
Waited well over an hour for some simple food items off the menu only for it to come out stone cold. Asked for it to be reheated for only them to NOT bring the cheese bites back out until another 30 minutes had passed without saying where they were. A new batch was made only for these to be cold in the centre too. Disgusting.
Lady/owner came across quite rude in saying we shouldn’t have ordered when we did and the chef is doing overtime to cook our food yet could’ve easily said im sorry but kitchen’s closing.
Feel sorry for the lad who had to being food backwards and forwards X amount of times and apologise for other people’s mistakes. And we wasn’t the only table.
Ruined our evening.
If you want good food and drinks. Do not come here.
Food was not cooked properly. Halloumi fries hot on outside frozen on inside. Home made pie had to be returned Luke warm. Came back hotter pastry tough chips and peas cam back colder we’re not warmed up with pie. Landlady did not know how to do a refund on credit card had to give cash back. Our friends waited over an hour for food apparently land lady said you will have to wait long as a big order was coming out before. No kidding we saw 5 meals come out before hardly a massive order. They waited that long gone past being hungry. Chef needs sacking. Staff had not got a clue what table was what. Kept bringing food to the table we had not ordered. Saw another table return food back to the kitchen. When raised our concerns with the landlady and said we would write a bad review she said do it . So I have. Think long and hard before you be part with your hard earnt cash here.
Unfortunately we didn’t catch this pub at its best which is strange comparing some of the good reviews on here. 4 adults and 2 kids, with a reservation. Organisation was somewhat chaotic, more than half the menu items were not available, and unfortunately we left before the food arrived after waiting over an hour for a relatively uncomplicated order on a non-busy day. The landlady was very apologetic but it seems they need to get their kitchen in order, and the pub does need some TLC. I would avoid until some fundamentals are fixed here.
Visited on 1 November with a friend. We received a lovely welcome with no hesitation to change our table so we could sit nearer to the fire. Had an amazing home made chicken pie and dessert from the specials board for very reasonable money. Will definitely be returning possibly to sample the team's new Sunday carvery offering. Highly recommended.
Bar staff were nice but stood around talking not actually serving which was a little annoying but overall a nice reasonably priced pub. Bit quiet when we were there but that might be down to the day.
Popped in for a pint with the family before going on ride down canal path. Very welcoming and friendly. Lovely location next to the canal.
Fabulous chips. Only one loo in the ladies. Excellent staff. Great location next to canal side tow path walk. Seating outdoors available both next to the canal and in the back garden under the very attractive large gazebo. Loved it. Plan to return and try out more of the menu. Really enjoyed our visit there.
