Atmosphere varies quite wildly.
I tend to go between 2pm and 4pm.
What I like 1) great duke box great mix of tracks, has ac/dc and other rock band on it.
2) Open fire, best fire in Cumbria - wet and cold come hang out here. Nice after a day canoeing.
3) I don't like racing - but they leave the TV remote out so I can put tipping point, antiques roadshow, bullseye carry on camping anyway other than racing the town's obsession.
