The best homemade roast we've ever had! A lovely 700 year old pub with so much character. The land lady kept the kitchen open for us so we could have a Sunday roast and it did not disappoint. She even told us about the history of the pub which was fascinating!
Food was absolutely amazing! So tasty and great portion sizes for the price! Chicken Curry was delicious, comes with half and half, naan bread and poppadoms????
The Black Lion was recommended by the hosts where we were staying.....we were not disappointed. Food was simple but delicious, no fancy frills, if that's what you like, just a perfect home cooked menu.

Lovely pub is gorgeous West Wales. Good pint, good service. The food looked great. Large juicy burgers and big portions. It was a very comfortable, welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
We have eaten here a few times and always have a very warm welcome. They make a fuss of our girls and nothing is too much trouble. The food is home cooked and absolutely delicious (I particularly recommend their burger!!) Luckily for us they do a takeaway service aswell which we often take advantage of when we can't quite face bundling 2 toddlers in the car!!

This place is incredible! The staff are so friendly, the place is so clean and welcoming and the food is beyond amazing! I would highly recommend a visit there. Thank you for a fantastic meal and a warm atmosphere!
