An excellent pub, a must if you’re in Deal. Walk 10-15 mins out of Deal to Walmer, and it’s quietly tucked away down a backstreet. Great local ales, other beers and a superb array of local Time & Tide craft beers on keg and cask. Amazing choice, good service, good fire
First time here today. Reminds me of my old local that closed down when I lived in Thanet. Hops above the bar. A nice large range of real ales and ciders. Most of them local. Lovely little garden and in doors well within the theme. Will be returning.
I'm not a regular but always enjoy my visits. A warm welcome from landlord Chris, good conversation with friendly customers, and a great selection of beers and ciders, details of which Chris knows inside out. Can't rate the food as haven't eaten here, but top marks for drinks and service.
We had friends take us here for beers after touring around Dover and Walmer. Great real ale pub with very friendly staff.
Without doubt one of the best real ale and cider pubs in the whole U.K. So welcoming, dog friendly and great
music. A proper pub with a South facing garden two minutes from the beach.
Never eaten in there.......Yet
Although I'm a Guinness drinker I also like a real Ale. This is a great pub for Real Ale etc. Service top notch, extremely friendly place. Will definitely use it again when I'm down that way.
A fantastic real ale pub. The manager & bar staff are friendly & knowledgeable about the beers on sale. The locals are approachable & there's a lovely beer garden. Well worth a visit.
