Beautiful tiny pub, with friendly staff and locals. The toilets are outdoors but it all adds to the character
I'm glad we planned a pit stop here on our cycle ride. The landlady was incredibly friendly and talkative. We will be back!
A truly delightful pub. Only two cask real ales on, but they were both in great condition. Really nice staff. Well worth a visit.

No food, not much choice of drinks, no signal, no wifi but it's the best place in miles! Its quiet, cosy, mega friendly and quaint! It's how village pubs should be. 5 stars and will always go back!
We have visited this beautiful little pub several times on our rural walks. We turned up last Sun forgetting it was cash payment only but the wonderful hosts let us have a drink and said to drop the money off when we were passing next.
We went straight back the next evening to settle our debt and to have another drink in this friendly cosy pub. Thank you for being so welcoming. Such lovely owners. We will be back!!
Absolutely wonderful welcome, felt like a local even tho our first visit definitely not our last. Decided to make a special trip to visit as featured in my good pub guide 2018 and did not disappoint beautifully keep and very well run, couldn’t ask for more thank you.

Used to be the smallest pub in England. When you go inside you'd think it still was. Had an open fireplace when I was last with a roaring fire ????
A good selection of beers , cider and wine.
Very friendly owners.
