Honestly one of the most solid fish and chip shops I've ever been to. Everything was cooked perfectly prices were affordable. People were nice. Place could do with a paint outside but don't let that put you off. Best fish and chips in North Wales.
Had small fish and chips £5.50. the chips were very nice, golden and delicious. The fish was a fair size, very fresh and the batter was crispy. Enjoyed it but couldn't quite manage all the chips. Good portion size and friendly helpful staff, will return ????
We had fish and chips which was lovely and fried fresh to order. Service was quick and friendly.
On holiday in Talacre, got chips on way back to holiday park after being at beach for the day.
The chips and fish was delicious, perfect chips and a light but crispy battered cod, cooked fresh.

Fish fried to order, so be prepared to wait. Nice crispy batter on the fish. The town is full of caravans and chalets, a bit dated. Walk over to the beach though. Miles of sandy beach, a lighthouse and views of Wirral and Liverpool. Great beach and dunes.
The food is alright if you have 40 minutes spare to queue for it! We went yesterday and honestly there was no reason for us to wait that long. 3 staff on and only one of them seemed to be doing anything (the bare minimum at that). Very lazy business, shame because the food was nice once we got it and they have the opportunity to be a good business! A whole queue of people and it was as if they couldn’t actually see any of us! Definitely will not be going back here, it set our beach trip off on a bad note and also wasted so much of our time. Horrendous.
Fantastic chippy. Everything freshly cooked. Fish and Chips got to be one of the best I've tried in North Wales. Fish was cooked perfectly, hard to get hold of a decent crispy fish. All responsibility priced as well. Definitely worth the visit.
The two portions of chips I ordered were fantastic, the 40 minutes it took to 'prepare' them not so much especially after being told we couldn't have fish as it would be 30 minutes to prepare ????????♀️. I wouldn't mind but there was only me and one other customer in the shop. I'm not sure what was going on as one minute customers were being told no orders were being taken as they were closing and 15 minutes later they were serving again with no mention of closing?!
