Very friendly bar with a lovely quirky building and some very good ales on tap. One of the better establishments we have visited in Berwick and we will definitely be returning soon.

Cool pub in the centre of Berwick-upon-Tweed. I stumbled across the place on a cold, windy Monday evening in March. It was quite busy for a Monday evening, and the barman and regulars in there were immediately really friendly and made me feel very welcome. I propped up the bar and enjoyed some good beer and great chat. Monday is local music night on the sound system. Only the main bar was open when I visited, but downstairs there is a cellar space where they hold regular gigs (a real mix of stuff from all types of music to film nights). I'd definitely recommend visiting The Barrels if you're in town! Cheers
Cracking real ale proper pub. It's got the lot. Quirky. Decent live music. 5 cask ales. Even Bass which you don't see so often.
Brilliant place. Good selection of beers, some local brews. The staff and the punters are very friendly. There's also live music downstairs on the weekend
Best pub around. Always busy, great atmosphere, lovely stuff.
Great vibe in the place once again, live music every weekend and good selection of drinks. Couple of cobwebs but feels like a real pub.
Just had a pint twixt match and train. 5 handpumps offering a sensible range of beers. Cosy, warm venue (needed to be, freezing outside). Good service, friendly customers.
