I was working in tbe area last Friday and luckily I was near this little gem. I am really cautious about reviews before I decide where to eat and I seen the high reviews and honestly, it was deserved. The food and service exceeded my expectation. I was a bit unsure what to order and the staff were very friendly and gave my recommendations, I ordered a pulled pork roll at first, which unfortunately had just ran out, I had already paid and the staff asked me politely if I could choose something else. I chose the chicken burger and they didn't charge me any extra. It was probably one of the nicest chicken burgers I've ever eaten. Very flavourful and cooked to perfection. When I go back to this area for work I will return and I would recommend to my friends and family too.
Fantastic meal and lovely atmosphere. We’ve had fish and chips, some coronation chicken toasties and local beer. We highly recommend to make your stop here while travelling around!
I think i have eaten here about four times now, and I have never been disappointed! The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is wonderful, and there is always plenty to drink which is always good! The welcoming staff makes this experience evermore enjoyable!

Lovely place, always busy and friendly polite staff. Great menu and interesting specials. Unfortunately, not dog friendly but would be difficult to have a dog with you because there is not much space between tables.
Excellent mince and tatties (mashed potatoes) with skirlie (oatmeal stuffing) and perfectly cooked vegetables.
Lovely little place on the main street in Alford. Love alk the little quirks, the gin bottles as vases and the tables and chairs. Great food too, very quick service and very good atmosphere.
Had a lovely coffee and toastie sitting outside. Menu actually had a great choice of snack and meals and the scones looked amazing.
