This little gem of a place is the real deal. The food is beyond amazing, every single time I eat here. I've never been disappointed as the food is not only delicious, but as fresh as can be. The presentation is absolutely on point and it's truly a delight to eat here. I wouldn't go anywhere else when I visit Lanark. The staff are absolutely adorable. Such a helpful and friendly bunch. I'll be back time and time again. Beautiful!
A super place, friendly staff, lovely food. We had delicious lentil and bacon soup and coffee and cake. A variety of soups on offer and a fabulous selection of cakes. Lunches looked nice too.
Great place for a cream tea. Booked in advance, it was well prepared and presented. Helpful waitresses and we got boxes to take away the extra cakes too
Ordered the eggs Caledonia and the soda bread came back buttered, no mention of this on the menu or I didn’t assume this.
What was more disappointing is when my wife went up to say the manager did not replace and that was dissaponting as it wasn’t clear and we would have ordered more.
Felt like they weren’t bothered so neither were we and left and didn’t order anything else.
What a gem of a place in Lanark. Beautifully clean and bright restaurant/cafe in centre of town. Staff are so kind and helpful. Service was great, and food was brilliant!
We had cooked breakfasts, and they set us up for the day!
Coffee was lovely, too.
I would highly recommend this place!! You need to go!!
In town visiting. Looks like an inviting lovely spot with outdoor tables and brollies. Wanted to shop 'local and independent'. However, we had a long wait and a surly, unfriendly male server was practically throwing the food onto the tables. Our pricey coronation chicken baguette was plain, tasteless and bland. No salad. No napkins. Tables not cleaned while we sat and waited. Should have got a tesco meal deal. :/
What a lovely wee place and excellent food. I had curried cauliflower soup and it was delish! My son had chicken soup and thoroughly enjoyed it. My gorgeous 17 year old dog also had a snack with us, as he was given bits of chicken to eat. What a fabulous treat! The staff are welcoming and friendly! Next time I'm in Lanark, I'll be back x
Great atmosphere and the staff could not be more helpful, definitely recommend this place, great food and it's always busy
