I agree with some of the other posts. As a regular petrol station visitor, I was enthralled by what I found in this one. For many years I have used petrol stations as a kind of emergency dinner stop. Pasties,slice, discos and a coke. It was enough but nothing inspiring. I never expected, on that long journey through, to find the best station I have ever visited. I have been all over the world, visited every conceivable type of 'gas' station. This has everything, ales, interesting reads, and above all the carvery, fast food outline. For a very reasonable amount , I had a choice of bread coupled with either roast turkey or pork. It was exceptional. I went back and ate it in the car next to my wife who was on a diet. You should have seen her face! It was ok as her bought her a magazine to soften the blow. Once finished, I sat on the forecourt and reflected. It was brilliant. I will make a special detour to visit again, and I live in bath! To all that work there, well done. Well done indeed.
The pork,chicken rolls are lovely, cooked fresh and comes with stuffing and gravey and at a cracking price, would highly recommend.
Wide range of hot and cold food. Although hot food generally not available before 0730. Also lots more general shopping items as well of course of petrol and diesel.
Good selection of hot and cold food. I highly recommend the hot pork carvery roll.
Not much to say. It's convenient in location and the staff are generally quite friendly.
