My most favourite takeaway in Brighton! The only place that does most dishes vegetarian. We always look forward to Chinese night with Tasty!
It's a takeaway so atmosphere is a bit hard to judge!
Food: it's bloody amazing, no nonsense decent Chinese takeaway. The delivery waiting times give you an idea of how good and loved this place is. Friday or Saturday night home Chinese takeaway treats don't get better!

This fed 4 people comfortably, and arrived in 40 minutes.

Worse Chinese I've ever had in my life.I ordered bbq spare ribs & they came dry , over cooked and a pot of sauce that tasted like bistro gravy.
Chow mein was so dry & cold , by the time, lady had put phone down on me twice re the ribs.i was being polite, respectful,with no raised voice.
Had to ring 16 times to get a refund, even saying I'd only had 3 mouthfuls.
The 1 & only POSITIVE thing was the delivery driver being so understanding, I had to wait 3 hrs to get my refund, And they wasn't even bothered about taking the uneaten food back. Which I could proove I'd not eaten, there DISGUSTING FOOD. SO EVERY GOOD REVIEW S ON HERE ARE , I IMAGINE FALSE . I say I imagine, so I am not slandering. I'm just being honest about how things were for me .so I advise. Choose another place!!
Delivery driver, polite and seemed really nice and genuine. Only good thing.CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED.
This place is so poorly run ‘your order will be ready to collect in 60 mins. I arrive then it will be 5mins 40 mins later still no food. Avoid avoid avoid. So poor
Very nice place, comfy seating area and the guy who served us was incredibly welcoming and kind. Me and my partner went there for dinner, we usually get a fair amount and other places it usually comes to £45-£50 but here it only come to £30, food came fairly quick but not too quick so could tell it had been cold fresh for our order not just grabbed from a tray, once we had taken it home and got it out the smell was amazing it so was the look of the food, this was definitely one of the best Chinese I've ever eaten and definitely the best I think I'll ever have for the price range.
Best Chinese in Brighton hands down! Food is amazing cannot fault it and use tasty regularly. Tonight was the first night they made a mistake with my order. I ordered two chicken chowmein, two special fried rice, chicken balls and chips. Instead they sent two egg fried rice, two special fried rice, chicken balls and chips. I dished up the egg fried rice believing they had just sent the wrong rice and wasn’t until I opened the other cartons that I realised they had sent only rice. Delivery driver returned very quickly to rectify the order and was very pleasant and apologetic but I was quite surprised I was asked to return the rice after waiting for order to be rectified and rest of food was cold. I explained the situation that I had dished up the egg fried rice first and would have to scrape back into cartons as was sitting on the plates to which delivery driver was ok with and was happy to wait. Just got me thinking did my mistaken order go to someone else? Was that the reason I was asked to return the rice? Had someone had my order and possibly dished up already and also had to scrape back into the carton? Kind of a put off. This review is based on a one off as said previously the food is amazing. Just if a mistake is made on your order ask them to resend the whole order on collection just to be safe.
The best, and I mean, the BEST take away I've encountered for years!...I ordered crispy beef..the cartoon had a pierced lid so the beef remained crisp...so important!....very tasty and delicately spiced...the prawns, with cashew nuts, were perfectly cooked..great taste and tender, so often prawns can be chewey...these were perfect....the quarter duck was good too and enough onion and cucumber...noodles and bean shoots were perfect too...gosh if they opened a restaurant and served that quality they'd be fully booked! I will definitely order again! JM
