Excellent place with more room than you would think. The staff are all young and extremely attentive, fast and polite.
A simple straight forward menu with some cakes makes this a simple place with very good food. Would come back, parking is a bit of a nightmare though.
All round 4 star, although the service was quite quick, the area was noisy due to the low ceiling at the back and the coffee machine. Food wasn't too bad, although it was a bit pricey for some of it. The general atmosphere is quite nice and the interesting deli at the front looked to have some lovely range of products. The home baking also looked very tasty with a good range. Meals were a little salty and maybe a bit too much fat on the bacon for my taste, and hollandaise sauce was quite mustardy. Not my first choice but ,I would give it another try. Dogs are welcome however, which is a plus when your 4 footed friend can enjoy a sit-down meal as well.

The food was tasty, I had the ploughmans and my son had a wrap. It would have got 5 stars for food (which I judge based on the fact this is mid market cafe) except there was almost too much food. it feels like they're trying to justify a slightly higher price tag than similar cafes by overloading your plate with salad. I was in for lunch and this was definitely a large dinner sized portion. Speaking specifically about the ploughmans, more bread, less salad leaves and smaller quantities and more variation in the main ploughman's components would have made it a five for food.
Great, varied menu. I got the bacon, Brie, and cranberry sauce panini. Comes with homemade coleslaw ????, and a large salad. The "bacon" was more like thin sliced ham. Everything was very good. Hit the spot. I requested the salad to be separate bc I don't like my food touching. I would eat here again if I was going to be in the area, which I'm not.
The menu doesn’t allow for substitutions, quite frustrating when I have allergies. I ended up not eating and only having a peppermint tea that tasted like grass.
Been twice here the food is excellent big portions and lovely fresh side salad with homemade coleslaw. The staff and owner/manager are welcoming to dogs and babies which is appreciated.
Scone was good, had it with jam and butter, no complaints from me
