Sutton Fisheries is a nice fish and chip shop. The chips are cooked in beef dripping. There is quite a variety on the menu. The medium-sized fish were a good size and well cooked in a light crispy batter. The fish are well wrapped, like a lot of fish shops do now in a cardboard box, and the chips were wrapped separately. The staff are very friendly and they do home delivery.
I got myself cheese n onion bites, chips and mushy peas. The bites were nice and warm but the chips and mushy peas didn't stay steaming warm for long, they tasted like they had been cooked ages ago and seemed to be a tad little dry. Mushy peas were reasonable tasting but lacked heat within the cooking. The atmosphere was nice and chatty, friendly people and no ramp or access for the disability. You can pay by card.
Good Friday 2024 just now 3pm what can I say 2 medium fish 1 chips 2 peas kids fish n chips n beans n scraps. fish was nice only 1 peas no scraps chips burnt hard n scrappy for £23 something I expected a lot better will not be returning!!!!
So I ordered the medium fish special with mushy peas. This came in a cardboard box, which I think is a good idea. The fish was freshly cooked to order and very nice but the chips were horrible, only about one third of them were edible and the rest went into the bin. I was very disappointed and definitely would not recommend this fish and chip shop. I won't be going back!

Did not know these delivered, well, the girl on the phone was brilliant,, the food was amazing, the haddock was like a whale :) 2 of us could if shared one , gorgeous food highly recommend!!!! ,, last minute call, so glad I did , my dog ate all his little fish

Always used this fish and chip shop, but unfortunately since new ownership, the potion size has become really bad. Got fish and chips 4 time and all ended up still hungry. The chip potion was pathic. And to add insult the new owner replies by saying he's never seen his staff give potions like that !! ???? Not a sorry or ask more information about it. Utter disgusting response...
