Great selection of breakfasts, including kids portions and also half size portions for adults, so no food waste if you don't eat like a giant. Staff are happy to swap out ingredients if there are items you don't like.
I would probably eat here more often if there was an option for waffles and hash browns done in the oven rather than fried, but it's great for a treat.
Thoroughly enjoyed my big veggie breakfast this morning. The veggie sausage are delicious (proper veggies, not fake meat). Everything was spot on .. and the beans were proper hot. Too many cafes serve luke warm beans. The hash browns were superb too. It was a really hot day so we sat outside. It felt like being on holiday. Will definitely return.
I have been to Wolverton many times but never knew about this cafe. I visited it for the first time yesterday and was very impressed! Loved the decor! Staff were very nice and helpful. I ordered iced coffee which was probably the best I’ve had in the country! And the breakfast was superb! Everything on the plate tasted so good! The bacon was not too salty, the sausage was lovely, the beans were yummy! I loved that they made fried bread for me as requested, and it was very nice!
We waited quite long for the food, but the cafe didn’t seem very busy. But my God! It was well worth the wait!
I had found a little gem of a cafe here! ❤️
Real traditional English breakfast in a South African Braai restaurant setting!! Still, has a genuinely local cafe feeling about it. We visited at 9.30 and it seemed very popular with residents and tradesmen working in the neighbourhood. Friendly service, competitive prices and really huge choice. The cooking was fabulous, especially the fried eggs. First visit.....and already looking forward to the next....which won't be too long away!!!
Great food and really friendly staff.
Edit: 21.08.21 - just been in for an amazing fry up. The staff are really friendly and very accommodating for a party of 12. Food is great here and priced good.
Edit- 29.01.23
Another amazing fry up.
DO NOT BOTHER READING THE POOR REVIEWS THESE PPL ARE JUST MOANING FOR THE SAKE OF IT
I had the double breakfast, and enjoyed it! Although when ordering, the person at the counter didn't seem too happy, and seemed quite rude. I'm not going to apologise for my hearing loss.
Other than that, the food is good, and so is the atmosphere. Reasonably priced as well. Just needs to work on their social skills. on 2 occasions the staff have been the same way.
Avoid this place like the plague.
Run by a bunch of cowboys with no sense of what good service or common sense is. They have incorrect prices on their menu, they add hidden charges that they don't stipulate when ordering. They miss stuff off an order and take no accountability for it.
The mediocre food did not make up for the horrific mess they made of the 5 meals we ordered. Never going here again, just stick with The Super Sausage.
We ordered online based on the prices from the website for a pick up today. We were over charged by £10. We didn't have the tea or coffee that was meant to be part of the order based on the fact we didn't ask for them?? Online orders were £2-£3 cheaper than what we were charged because they charged us as if we were dining in. We called twice to see what the situation was but were fobbed off. Definitely will let everyone know what happened so that other people can avoid or at least question the price.
