Was not sure when I walked in as it seemed to be a pizza place and no smell of chips or anything cooking, but was very pleasantly surprised with the freshly cooked HUGE piece of haddock that was provided. Must have been about 30cm long and photo doesn’t do it justice. Batter was crispy and fish fresh. Very tasty indeed. Chips good but let down by mushy peas side portion which were bland and runny. Would happily go back if in the area again. £8.70 for this fish, chips and a side.
Went with quite a large order and nothing was to much trouble. Had a little wait but at least everything was fresh. Polite and friendly staff.
Really enjoyed the fish and chips from here. Very nice. As nice as other good chip shops in town. Not greasy, batter was nice and crispy and the fish was lovely and fresh and hot. Also very reasonably priced. Only thing that let it down was the mushy peas were a bit too hard for my liking. Very likely to use again as it’s very close to where I live.
Just had a cod, chips & mushy peas dinner delivered. It was piping hot & absolutely delicious.. & a very generous portion! Nothing is too much trouble whenever I call into the shop & staff go out of their way to please. ????
If your in a hurry don't go here i very nearly gave up waiting for my sausage and chips, it took 20 minutes. Chips were nice but you get enough for two in one portion, the sausage was not the best chip shop sausage i've ever tasted but ok.
Food is absolutely amazing! We went there for the first time today and will definitely be going back. Portion sizes are very generous and reasonably priced as well.
Food is amazing. We ordered off of deliveroo but there were no drivers available so they themselves hand delivered the food. Amazing food and amazing customer service. Definitely recommend
Just had two 12 " build your own pizzas with 5 choice toppings. Being a fish and chips place, which are fantastic I was a bit apprehensive if they could do the Italian game as well! I was not disappointed. Best takeaway pizza in Grantham. 2 for £15. Fresh dough, stone baked, semolina dusted to stop sticking and 5 of your favourite toppings! I have paid £19 for a sub standard pizza from Papa John's. Lovely family run business. Would highly recommend!
