Normally I wouldn’t change my review. I really loved this place and enjoyed their Singapore chow mien. However, I have recently been sick and been throwing up.. needless to say… probably won’t be eating here for a long while
Firstly the positives:
The staff on the phone were friendly and helpful, the chicken noodle and chicken sweetcorn soups were good, and fair portions.
Unfortunately the lemon and orange sauces tasted like squash mixed with corn starch. Worst of all was the duck, it was drier than the summer of 2022. I think I probably burnt more calories trying to chew it than I would have put on. First and last time I've had food from here.
Food is always amazing and fast delivery! Definitely the best Chinese in Ely!
Deeply disappointed. Not had from here in about 3 years so we ordered and we wish we had beans on toast. The food had been pre frozen or cooked then chilled. The noodles were moulded to the shape of the tub a block on the plate tough and chewy. The chicken balls were like bricks and clearly frozen chicken used. And I think we had curry powder not curry sauce. Its a shame as it's been in the community years and use to have nice food. I will never order from here again my food went in the bin. £25 down and still hungry. Absolute joke. With a Chinese opening a few doors down you would think they would up their game clearly not. Change or you will be out of business.
The best Chinese takeaway in Ely great menu with decent prices.
Large menu with and eclectic mix of choices to suit most pallets and tastes. They are willing to adjust your choice of meal to your taste and go the extra mile to make sure your choice of meal is right for you. No delivery charge over £10 per order, normally within I hour. Order staff are pleasant and delivery staff are courteous and do have change if paying by cash ????????
The food is always nice , delivery service is good , food always delivered hot friendly drivers

I have placed an order with this takeaway twice and both times I am really pleased with what I have had.
I have mostly been impressed by the speed of the delivery.
Tonight's take away took 12 minutes to be deliver.
