Stumbled upon
this cute little shop and could not resist checking out their offerings of beautifully presented donuts. We greedily bought ourselves three selections and wolfed down two once we were home. The verdict? Best donuts we have ever tasted!
The best doughnuts we’ve ever had. Fresh, squishy, doughy and so much bigger than any other brands. Great variety of fillings and toppings and they change often so you’ll never get bored.
Coffee and drinks also available. Also brownies and other pastries sometimes.
Not to be missed if you’re in Canterbury!
THE BEST DONUTS IN CANTERBURY.
I am quite a regular at Sumo and unequivocally they offer the best selection and tasting donuts in all of Canterbury. There is always a tough decision on which ones to try as they are all simply that good. Do not miss out, the staff are lovely and the selection changes enough that there is always something different to try.
I recently got some donuts for my boyfriend's birthday. We love Sumo donuts and get donuts from here whenever we can, so when I saw on their Instagram that they do custom birthday orders I thought that would be perfect! I contacted them very last minute and they were so accommodating and able to fit me in and fulfil my request. The donuts were so yummy and pretty, and the personalisation was great! Thank you so much!
Stumbled my way into this little shop off the busy high street. Had a lovely conversation with Maria who made me a lovely cup of coffee (despite not drinking coffee herself) and I got a delicious, moist, fudge brownie oh my! Can't wait to go back and try the rest of their items
Only tried the one- tiramisu- but I’ll be back when the sweet tooth lures me. The flavor is true to its namesake promise. Only wished the dough was a little fluffier/ lighter but that’s a matter of preference rather than a flaw. I can taste why many would rate this 5 stars.

Such an amazing find. The best donuts I've tasted and great value for money. We found Sumo donuts by chance two days ago during our week stay in Kent and we went back for more today. Both days there were different variety of donuts to try. The owner is very friendly and we ended up chatting for a little while. We wish you all the best in your new business!
