This is a great Chippy! Had several meals from here and they have always been really good. Delivery quick and reliable too. Definitely recommend.

Avoid!

This used to be really nice. Food would come in nice cardboard boxes. Good portions and fresh.

Unfortunately it seems it’s gone drastically downhill.

Food order wrong. We ordered fish separately to chips because my daughter is vegi. It came with the fish plonked on chips!

Portions awful. Ordered a large and medium. It was more like a medium and kids. Large curry and peas expensive but probs 2 tablespoons in each.

Forgot bread bun. Not even sure we have correct order!

£30 for two fish and chips we wouldn’t even pay £10 for

Batter and chips are brown. Has it already been recooked? Which is worrying considering…

Arrived in taxi and lukewarm, around 30-40 degrees. Not food safe and must have been on road dropping other orders off for a long time.

I wouldn’t normally make an effort to leave reviews unless have a very good experience or a really bad one.

We stopped by for a quick bite. The gentleman was very friendly and served the food as per our request. The batter was thin and crispy as requested by us. 5 star for the friendly and welcoming man behind the counter and cook.

A great, traditional fish & chip shop, offering a simple menu.

The chips were some of the best I've had in years; well cooked and not greasy. Service was very friendly and quick. Everything was well wrapped in layers of paper, but, I hope in future, there is no more expanded polystyrene packaging. This is why I've taken the score down to a 4.

£37 for 4 chips and 4 sausages drinks and a couple of pots of sauce. Chips were wet soggy and all clumped together small portions and some of the chips weren't cooked, it used to be my favourite chippy as a child but the food is over priced for what you get. Very disappointed.

Really disappointed. This was just really poor. The batter was awful, overcooked and hard, some of the chips were stodgy, while others were still hard in the middle. Such a shame.
