For the third time in a row, I've asked for a large bag of chips and got a child's portion for the larger price. My wife was amazed at how few chips I'd had. It was almost comical. Never again. There are plenty of other chip shops.
I bought 2 fish and one chips for our tea. The fish was superb freshly cooked and the chips were delicious. Food excellent staff very good....highly tmrecommend
Nice staff staff, but very disappointed with the chips again
Called for some kebab meat and chips, kebab meat was microwaved and dripping with fat in the tray, chewy and horrible, chips were stale and cold 6.50 down the drain.. never call in an empty shop is my moto, staff friendly so 2 stars..
Steve's is my local preferred chip shop. Good food and well cooked. And the staff are very plesent.
However. I recently visited the chippy & a number of customer came in after me NOT WAREING FACE MASKS despite your signage & to my surprise where not challenged by the staff.
It is a legal requirement and is punishable by a fine to you and your staff.
I was very tempted on leaving all together. You need to remind your staff its for their own safety and that of other customers who may be the shop.
Since this takeaway opened in the 80s/99s its held its place on the market Street of the village.
As all businesses do its had its weak moments but the team have most definitely brought itself back to its quality prime.
Cheeseburgers are cracking, chicken is lovely and im sure the entire menu is champion. the service is always friendly ... especially with the familiar gent who has been there for many years.
By far the tastiest and cleanest takeaway in Rhos johnstown penycae and surrounding areas. Well done everyone ????

Chicken pie, £3.50, what a rip off, not even a decent branded pie at that and the chips soggy, certainly not returning.
I bought small chips and curry wat a rip of warm up chips 3.60 and the curry was cold I won’t be going there again discussing it was
