Thrilled to stumble upon this little gem! We got seated right away which was a plus. Place was small but clean. Staff was incredibly attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.
It is the best Cantonese food we've had in Shropshire. The highlight was the curry fish balls. We're already planning to come back another evening for some Thai food!
I had been to star Ferry few times and I was very impressed by all the tasty foods. No matter Cantonese foods or Thai dishes, all make me feel it’s just the way I like it. I love Pai Thai with prawns, it’s super yummy ???? the best Pai Thai I’ve ever had. Definitely, Star Ferry would be one of my favorite restaurants in Shrewsbury.
Our usual Thai has collaborated with a Cantonese business where the Cantonese operates in all day and the Thai operates nights only. Love the fact it is fusion but cooks are still specialist in their cuisine so customers gets more choice in one place. The HK curry fish balls was super tasty, full of flavour but not too spicy. The steamed crystal custard buns comes in 4 pieces, shaped like flowers so very pretty as well as tasty, that is one skilled dim sum chef in the house! We also liked our hot lemon tea and HK style milk tea (carnation milk is used so tea is slightly sweeter). Overall very pleased with everything we ordered and we will be back again!

So as the shrimp wonton and braised pork rice. Stunning taste and the look. Certainly one of the best Cantonese and Asian cuisine out there.
Great drinks (we had lemon tea and classic milk bubble tea) and nice street food to share (we had fried rice rolls with sweet soy sauce which came in a massive portion and we tried their sweetcorn cheese and pork dumplings).
Great atmosphere, service and foods.
Definitely come back for more Pan fried Tofu and Prawn in teriyaki sauce and other meals in the menu.

I definitely went to the star.
I never thought I would be able to eat Hong Kong's Curry Fishballs rite here, had to give it a try, it was beautiful. Also ordered the Thai Chicken Wings which came with sweet chilli sauce and the Siu-mai. Will definitely be coming back. The staff was nice and friendly too.
Their food was very delicious. I recommend Siu-mai ???? It's a very nice location, easy to go to Shrewsbury station or town.
