Best KPortal Reviews
My family and I (3 of us) have been registered at this practice for about 8 years. We have seen a number of different GPs and nurses over the years for various reasons, some routine and others not. The surgery has arranged many referrals for us, and we have never received anything but helpful, reassuring and courteous service from both over stretched clinicians and reception staff. We are very satisfied to be registered with this surgery.
We moved to this practice a couple of years ago and I’m so pleased we did. The team are excellent, despite the undoubted pressures they are under. We are very grateful to belong this practice.
This must be the worst run GP around. Go register somewhere else, it’s really not worth putting up with rude reception staff, hour long phone wait times and no appointments within two weeks. I was on hold for over an hour before walking down and going into reception to find BOTH members of the reception team on their mobiles, nether seemed bothered about the jammed switchboard.
I have been at this Doctors' for nine years and have found them nothing but extremely helpful. My experience is certainly different to other postings on here although maybe I'm a little more understanding. I have always found the receptionist to be polite and helpful and the Doctors' excellent.
OK so you may have to wait sometimes but this should be expected and if the appointments are running late it is because someone needs more of their time-show a little understanding.
This doctors is great as long as you’re only sick during the week and you don’t need a repeat prescription. You used to be able to email your repeat through to the surgery but now you have to drop in a physical copy which means two separate trips into town, one to order then another to collect.
We've been with this practice for over ten years and always found them extremely helpful and accomodating, even during Covid. Never had a bad experience.
I had an extremely terrible cough, came in at about 16:00, had to wait 2 hours or quite possibly more. Not just me, everyone around me had to wait about the same amount of time. The receptionists completely unhelpful, quite possibly showcasing an apathetic attitude, the GPs quite literally love to talk and talk for hours, and don’t expect a prescription for the worst of cases, no, expect a 30 minute conversation about that party she/he had last weekend. The weather is boiling in the summer: no air conditioning or even if there is, it barely works. In winter it is freezing. No source of heat. My final thoughts are never to come to this GP, if it’s your only GP give it ago but don’t expect to wait less than 30 minutes and try something else if you have a busy life. If I could rate it less than one star I definitely would have.
Rudest staff I've ever encountered.
Good luck getting help with the msot basic of tasks as they're completely opposed to helping others.
God forbid they'll have to do some work one day I'm sure they'd go on strike before they helped any members of the public.
Disgraceful staff.
