Lovely little Caravan park small but handy for the beach which is just along at the Nature Reserve. Montrose 5 miles along the road as well Aberdeen 35 miles away and Dundee 10. But having a great time.
Brilliant quiet site great as a base you can explore the east coast from here. No on site shops but main supermarkets within driving distance to stock up from. Staff at the caravan site are lovely and most helpful. I Would recommend this site if you want a quiet site for a relaxing break. It has a small play area for children and can be accessed by local bus service from Montrose or an X7 that runs to and from Aberdeen to Perth. I think the Montrose bus route is the 117? Local tourist offices have lots of information on things to do for all.
First up, the caravan was spotless. The lady at reception wonderfully friendly. On the not so great side, there's nothing to do at the park other than a small kiddies adventure playground. The bedrooms in the vans are tiny and claustrophobic. Outstretch your arms and you're touching walls. Mattresses were thin and made for a very uncomfortable nights sleep. If you like to cook for yourself then bring your own pans as the ones in the van are basic. The location of the site is next to a main road that in the evening doubles up as a race track for cars with big holes in their exhausts. We were booked in for the week but all the above saw us stay just two nights, and looking back, that was one night too long.
Amazing! The cabin is amazing the hot tub is beautiful. But the little details they leave, a welcoming tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. Not only that they have some games for all ages and drawing pads for kids. The beds as unbelievably comfy the blankets on each bed at the touch. The cleanliness is second to none. Would definitely recommend and will most definitely be back❤️
Lovely clean small park, static caravan was very clean. However no shop or club house and location of st.cyrus park, you definitely need transport, A good base for visiting other town's. If you want peace and quiet this is the site to stay at
We have stayed at the campsite for 3 nights. The caravan was very spacious, clean with good beds. The staff were friendly and helpful.
You can walk to the sea in just a few minutes.
Donnottar Castle is just a few minutes by car.
Worst place I've stayed.
Started off bad was okay in the middle of our stay and ended terrible. I don't rate the staff.
The caravan we had was next to a road and noisy.
Nice views.
Nice play Park.
Caravan it self was fine.
No WiFi.
Laundry room was terrible.
Nothing else in the park so it's really for a weekend of quiet and relaxing not a fun filled family stay.
We just came back from a nice wee night at St Cyrus Holiday Park. Fiona at the main office was lovely, she was very friendly. We will return to this lovely well maintained park. It's probably the best park in the area it was really very quiet. Thank you. Claire&Mario.
