As carparks go, this is actually a candidate for Devon's top 5 carkparks!
Lots of spaces, parking for coaches, loos, including disabled with radar key. As you come into the carpark, on the left is a post office, library and café with gardens. At the bottom of the carpark there is an amazing view and nearby access to walks above the river Torridge. It's situated right in the middle of town and also very near to Torrington castle. Limited parking in the town so best go straight to the carpark. Free on Saturday mornings.
Always feel part of the Village,been parking here for years.Miss the Free parking, but as usual People Always take the piss and we All suffer. But still park here ✨️
Wow I've never been in a car park with such a beautiful view. Plus it has a very sad history which they marked with a plaque. It's worth stopping to have a look.

Need to arrive early for spaces. Locals with no home parking use this ( for £300 a year Torridge Council Long Term Parking).
Town looks it shall be busy... But its not. Checkout Free Parking from 12 noon Saturdays and cheap weekend Rate for Camper/Motorhomes fantastic views to wake up too
The best view from a car park ever.
No charge after 6pm but several cars had charge notices stuck on the windscreen when I arrived. Make sure that you pay for your full stay. They seem to be on the ball. Tea room access from the car park too.
The view and walk down to the river is fantastic. Very much worth the walk down one of the three routes mapped out.
